Checking to see if you prequalify will not impact your credit score. However, if you choose to apply, the Bank will perform a credit bureau check, which may affect your credit score. The Bank will decide whether you qualify for a credit card, and which credit card you will receive.

Yes, during the application process for the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card you will be promoted to enroll in the myAcademy Rewards loyalty program to ensure that you can take full advantage of the benefits associated with both the credit and loyalty programs.
If your existing Academy Credit Card account has been transitioned to the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card and you have a myAcademy Rewards loyalty program account, your credit account and loyalty account will be linked.
If your existing Academy Credit Card account has been transitioned to the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card and you do not have a myAcademy Rewards Loyalty program account, one will be created for you to ensure you can take advantage of all program benefits.
You can opt out of the myAcademy Rewards loyalty program at any time.

Account Creation
If the phone number associated with the email already exists, then you will be prompted to recover the account related to your phone number when you log in. You will receive a one-time passcode to the phone number or email on file, that you can enter to verify the phone.
If you are notified that your email already exists, visit the account login page and sign in from there. You will be prompted to recover the account via email or phone.
If you are unable to receive one-time passcodes, then you can always select “Email Me a Code” upon log-in.
Account Sign-in
We're thrilled to announce a simplified way to log in to your myAcademy account. We've replaced traditional passwords with a secure One-Time Passcode (OTP), making accessing your account simpler.
Here's how it works:
- Enter your email address: when logging in, provide the email associated with your myAcademy Rewards account.
- Receive your OTP: if you are opted in to receive transactional text messages, you will receive the one-time passcode via SMS. If not, the passcode will be sent to your email.
- Log in securely: enter the OTP and click “Continue” to access your personalized myAcademy Rewards benefits.
If you are struggling to receive your one-time passcode via phone, you can select the “Email me a Code” option. If you still do not receive a code, please contact Customer Care at 1-888-922-2336.

Account Management
Your birthday reward will be sent to you via email on the first day of your birthday month each year and can be redeemed any time within your birthday month.
Members can add their birthday under the Account tab in their myAcademy Rewards account. Members can change their birthday; however, you are only eligible to receive one birthday offer per calendar year.
Members can update the phone number associated with their account in the Account tab. You will be prompted to verify the phone number with a one-time passcode.

You can opt in or out of receiving both one-time passcodes and transactional messages at the bottom of the Account page.

Academy Sports + Outdoors provides promotions for:

You will be able to see your in-store purchases if you link your purchase to your account during checkout by typing in your phone number.
myAcademy Rewards members can add or remove a credit card in the Manage Cards section in the Account tab.
You can manage the person who is assigned to pick up your orders from a store location in the Account tab under Pick-up Person.
Members that have placed an order can change the pick-up person in the Academy app.
You can manage your saved addresses in the Account tab. You can add a new address or designate an existing address as the default shipping address for the account.

You can manage your communications preferences in the Account tab, under Profile in the Communications Preferences section. There are multiple toggles to choose how you receive communications.
To provide a secure experience, Academy Sports + Outdoors will lock an account after five failed log-in attempts.
If your account is locked, you can unlock it by following the link in the email we sent to your registered address. Your account will also unlock automatically after 24 hours.

Members can delete their account in the Account tab on a web browser. This action cannot be completed in the Academy app.
Users are not required to enter a one-time passcode when they delete their account.
Promotions and Offers
Your welcome offer is in the myRewards section in your account. Customers will only receive their offers via email if they have subscribed to receive email marketing messages.
To receive your welcome offer, you must complete the myAcademy Rewards loyalty program enrollment process. Please click the link in the text message you received to complete enrollment or go to Academy.com/myAcademy to enroll.
Customers can stack their welcome offer along with the myAcademy Rewards credit card discount on their first purchase using their myAcademy Rewards credit card. Terms and conditions to both offers will apply. The $15 welcome offer will apply first, and then the myAcademy Rewards Credit Card discount will apply. If you have provided your birthday, your birthday reward will be sent to your myAcademy Rewards account on the first day of your birthday month. If you enter your birthday in the middle of your birthday month, you will receive your birthday offer in your myRewards wallet the following day. The offer can be redeemed any time within your birthday month.
To earn your $25 reward, you must reach $500 in Annual Spend within a single calendar year (January 1 – December 31). “Annual Spend” will be determined based on Eligible Purchases within a calendar year. “Eligible Purchases” exclude licenses, services, warranties, gift card purchases, shipping and handling fees, sale tax, and loyalty and credit rewards. Amounts related to Eligible Purchases will not include discounts and offers and will be calculated after applying coupons, promotions and employee discount. Eligible Purchases made with a gift card will count toward Annual Spend. Eligible Purchases will count toward Annual Spend only once purchase has been fulfilled (shipped, picked up, or transacted in-store).
Annual Spend can be found in the Purchases tab in your myAcademy Rewards account. To ensure every dollar counts toward your annual spend when you’re shopping at Academy:
- Online: make sure you are signed in to your account before checking out.
- In-store: enter the phone number associated with your account at the register.
While your purchase history shows your full receipt, your tracker reflects your merchandise subtotal for eligible purchases that contribute towards the minimum annual spend threshold.
Your reward will be delivered to your myAcademy Rewards account within 7 days of meeting minimum Annual Spend threshold.
Members are eligible to receive one $25 Annual Reward per calendar year. Your spend tracker runs from January 1 through December 31. Once you meet the $500 minimum annual spend threshold of eligible purchases you will receive your $25 reward, and your eligibility for this specific bonus is complete for the year. On January 1, your spend tracker will reset to $0.00 so you can begin earning your reward for the new year.
You can track your purchases in your Account Settings. Annual spend can be found in the Purchases tab in your myAcademy Rewards account. You must be signed in online or enter your phone number at the register during checkout to ensure your purchase is linked to your account.
Your $25 reward will be delivered to your myAcademy Rewards account within 7 days of meeting the $500 minimum spend threshold.

To join myAcademy Rewards, you will need to provide your first and last name, your phone number, and your email address. Moreover, to receive birthday rewards in your birth month, you need to provide your birthday (month, day, and, to the extent applicable, year) in your myAcademy Rewards account.
myAcademy Rewards Restrictions:
- One myAcademy Rewards membership is permitted per guest. Your membership and any myAcademy Rewards benefits are non-transferable and are subject to future myAcademy Rewards terms and conditions.
- myAcademy Rewards may be used only for personal, family and household purposes. You agree that you will not use myAcademy Rewards for business or commercial purposes. Resellers are excluded from myAcademy Rewards. If you purchase items in violation of these myAcademy Rewards terms and conditions, including purchasing items for resale, Academy reserves the right to not award certain benefits and/or terminate your participation in myAcademy Rewards.
- To the extent that you sign up for any benefit via an offer from a third party, any fees paid to such third party may be non-refundable and will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the third party, and disclosed to you, at the time of sign-up.
Opting Out of myAcademy Rewards:
- If you no longer wish to be a myAcademy Rewards member, you can opt out of myAcademy Rewards by deleting your account. If you require further assistance, you may contact Academy Customer Care at 1-888-922-2336.
- If you opt out of myAcademy Rewards, any accumulated benefits will be deleted and you may not have access to other benefits. If you later re-join myAcademy Rewards, any deleted benefits will not be reinstated.
- If you or Academy deletes, suspends or closes your myAcademy Rewards account, any accumulated myAcademy Rewards benefits will be deleted, and you may not have access to other benefits. In the event of any abusive or fraudulent activity related to myAcademy Rewards, and/or any violation of these myAcademy Rewards terms and conditions, as determined in Academy's sole discretion, Academy reserves the right to make any adjustments to your myAcademy Rewards account and/or terminate your participation in myAcademy Rewards at any time.
