The store employees, without the customer noticing, issue him a credit card from some bank with huge interest rates. When asking to cancel the application to the bank, they say that they can’t do anything and the customer is forced to go to the bank. Manager Nick talked with us indifferently, smiled and agreed they created a problem for us and that we will have to deal with it ourselves.

I was in the store the other day looking at firearms, the gentleman behind the bar, I believe his name was Austin. He was super helpful and knowledgeable about the different kinds of firearms and what would work best for me and helped me pick the perfect one out- so appreciative!

I went to Academy Sports looking for portable oxygen/canned air. When I asked an associate, they immediately said they didn’t have it. I then asked if they could check, and they instead told me to try Walmart. Not convinced, I stepped outside and placed a mobile order for curbside pickup. Within minutes, I got confirmation that my order was ready. I went back inside to wait near the front door. An employee then asked why I was waiting there, checked my order, and confirmed it. Five minutes later, they brought it out, and I was able to leave. Overall, not the best experience. The initial service was dismissive, but they corrected it quickly. The curbside process was efficient once acknowledged. 3/5 stars.
